Project Description

Dave Matre

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Dave Matre is charged with the management and oversight of the company strategy, accounting, financial planning and analysis, human resources, banking, cash management, and investor relations. An accomplished, driven executive, he brings over 25 years of corporate finance, accounting, treasury, and operations experience to Openforce.

Dave’s broad-based finance and accounting background includes executive roles in startup, high-growth, and public company environments. With significant experience in both the software and B2B technology services sectors, he partners with executive teams to continually drive profitable revenue growth, enhance productivity and increase enterprise value.

Dave understands the challenges facing the markets impacted by independent contractor workforces. With the increasing regulatory and compliance frameworks surrounding independent contractors, the gig economy, and insurance, along with the shortage of skilled and available labor, Dave believes that Openforce technology can specifically address these challenges and provide clients with forward-thinking technology solutions to mitigate these issues.

Prior to joining Openforce, Dave was most recently the CFO at Global HR Research, where he was instrumental in driving a fourfold increase in revenues and EBITDA margins that ultimately resulted in a successful exit for Global HR Research clients, employees, and investors. Previously, he served as the CFO for Modern Hire, PartsTrader LLC, Minnesota Fiber Exchange, and Ten X Capital Partners.

Dave holds a Master of Business Administration degree from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
